The leading UK mobile phone provider have now revealed a pair of environmentally-friendly wellington boots that allow their wearers to get their mobile charged, by simply making use of the heat energy generated from walking (and dancing).

Thanks to Orange you can now bounce up and down to your favourite bands, while your mobile is on charge. These new ‘Power Wellies’ certainly sound impressive – and a godsend to festival goers!

The section of the listing that relates to this says that Apple “is looking for a talented and inspired manager to lead a team focused on bring-up of iPhone OS on new platforms”.

We already know the same OS is to be utilised on the upcoming iPad device, offering many of the popular features that can be seen on the iPhone using the same slick interface. But at this time there is no mention on what these new iPhone OS platforms might be.

There is one pretty big drawback to all of this however; the price. If you want to get your hands on the LANDWALKER, you might need to remortgage your home, because one of these beauties will set you back £220,000.

If you have the right contacts, you can get you hands on a device that can fit into your pocket and isn’t too expensive. People found these for a very check price (we’re talking about under £100) and started to offer a phone unlock service for £10 while you wait. Within hours, they made hundreds of pounds!

Now, ever since the iPhones were released, people all over the world have tried to hack it and manipulate it. after failing over and over again over a very long period of time, they finally broke into it and manipulated it in ways not seen before.

I’m sure there are already many teams out there getting ready for the launch of Apples new iPad touch device. Waiting to manipulate it (and maybe even run windows on it!!!)

There is an International version of the Kindle now available, though it is currently imported from the US (TAX!) and doesn’t support the free wireless web browsing that it does in its home country (how is that an international product?)

A recent firmware update for the Kindle 2 was released by Amazon, which improves the battery life of the reader by as much as 85% and adds a PDF reader and converter.

The study showed that 48 per cent of women felt comfortable when it came to using new technology and gadgets, whereas only 47 per cent of men felt the same.

The fact of women taking dominance in the field of gadgetry is further reinforced by the fact the study found that 85 per cent of men believed that they were not the most capable person in the household, when it came to technology devices.

Using this ingeniously simple device, you can control almost any infra-red device by just flicking the wand, magician-style. You can program 13 different gestures to certain commands, so, for example, you could pause a DVD movie with an upwards flick of the wrist.
