Phones 4U and Carphone Warehouse cease selling SE Satio
Mobile phone marketing chains, Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4U, have both stopped selling the Sony Ericsson Satio mobile phone amidst concerns over the stability of the Symbian-based software on them.
It is unsure whether it is a hardware of software fault, but apparently the phone simply switches itself off or restarts itself when suers try to run certain features of the mobile phone.
Sony Ericsson are claiming that a only a small proportion of the handsets have been returned with the fault. However, they also stated that an over-the-air (OTA) patch was not an option for the fault that is commonly occurring.
