Thoughts on Unlocking
Ever found yourself stuck? Need to do something tricky like find a web proxy? Unlock your mobile phone? Many people do this daily, a lot have unlocked their iphones as it came out only on 02 at first. Unlocking it meant they could use it on various mobile operator networks. Web proxies are often used to get around blocked access to specific websites.
What you have to think about in all of this is the legal implications. Is it legal? Is it moral to ‘unlock’ software? What about the people who have developed the product or service? Or will it be fine as you can get away with it? Maybe with so many people wanting to unlock something, the original thing shouldn’t be locked in the first place!
